Your contribution to the team

At Frekuent, we’re not just building payment solutions — we’re creating seamless experiences that move businesses and customers forward. As a Go-to-Market & Ops Intern, you will support strategic and operational initiatives to help scale our business across markets. You will work cross-functionally with the HQ team and local partners, contributing to both analytical and execution-oriented tasks.


What you'll be doing

Market Research & Competitive Intelligence

  • Support the development of market scorecards and deep-dives by researching competitors, pricing structures, and customer segments.
  • Conduct qualitative research including expert interviews, mystery shopping, and industry benchmarking.

Operations Support

  • Support KYC team in partner and terminal onboarding, contact clients and follow-up documentation.
  • Provide hands-on support in other operational tasks such as solving shipping problems, CRM discrepancies, etc.
  • Help with training and onboarding sessions for local partner teams.

Documentation

  • Documentation of SOPs and creation of Partner materials.
  • Support the standardization of processes across markets, ensuring consistency from HQ.
  • Help build onboarding processes and materials, including internal training videos and guides.
  • Ensure partner communication templates are translated to the local language.

Reporting, tools & automation

  • Build reports and dashboards for performance tracking and decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development of internal tools for local teams (e.g., tracking subscriptions, device status, partner billing).
  • Analysis - Help reconcile discrepancies between reported revenues and transaction data (financial reconciliation).


Who we’re looking for

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Languages: working proficiency both Spanish & English.
  • Availability: Able to commit to a 40-hour workweek.
  • Knowledge in excel, SQL and automation tools such as Make or Notion would be a high plus.
  • Process-oriented and analytical profile.
  • Strong execution and problem-solving skills — you’re not afraid to tackle challenges head-on.
  • Takes accountability and consistently owns the outcome throughout the process.
  • Embraces feedback as an opportunity for growth.
  • Naturally proactive, always looking for ways to move projects forward.
  • Comfortable speaking up and proposing bold, creative ideas that add value.
