What you'll do

At Frekuent, we’re not just building payment solutions — we’re creating seamless experiences that move businesses and customers forward. As an MBA Summer Intern, you’ll take on a high‑impact strategic project that directly contributes to our growth. . We give you a problem that actually matters — and the room to go solve it.

You’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams, dive into real business challenges, and deliver insights and recommendations that help shape the future of Frekuent. From day one, you'll be doing work that moves the business:

  • Own a strategic or operational project from start to finish, delivering clear outcomes within the internship period.

  • Structure problems, analyze data, and build actionable recommendations.

  • Conduct market, customer, or competitive research to identify opportunities for expansion or optimization.

  • Build business cases and frameworks that help guide leadership decisions.

  • Map and optimize workflows across teams such as Operations, Commercial, Finance or Product.

  • Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements or automations that enhance scalability.

  • Navigate a company that moves fast, work closely with stakeholders across the company to gather insights and validate hypotheses with incomplete information..

  • Present your findings and recommendations to leadership. This is a real deliverable, not a formality.


Who we’re looking for

  • Currently enrolled in an MBA and have professional experience that shaped how you think — consulting, finance, operations, product, or something entirely different.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to structure complex challenges.

  • Comfortable working with data and transforming insights into clear recommendations.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

  • A proactive mindset — you take ownership, move fast, and enjoy building from scratch.

  • Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.

  • A genuine interest in startups, payments, technology, or scaling global businesses.

Bonus points:

  • Exposure to high‑growth and/or international environments.

  • Familiarity with tools like Confluence, Jira, Zoho, or automation platforms.
