What you'll do

At Frekuent, we’re not just building payment solutions — we’re creating seamless experiences that move businesses and customers forward. We’re looking for a Product Owner who joins our Product team and helps us build things that truly matter. If you love connecting the dots between business, design, and tech—and you enjoy making ideas happen (while keeping a good vibe)—then this might be your next move.

Your mission will be to keep the product backlog organized and aligned, shape clear and inspiring epics, and support the teams day-to-day so we never lose direction.

We’re a team in constant evolution, so we’re also looking for someone who brings fresh perspectives and isn’t afraid to propose new ways of doing things. If you spot something we can do better, we want to hear it, try it, and iterate together.



What you'll be doing:

  • Backlog ownership: Maintain, prioritize, and refine the product backlog with a sharp eye on what drives value.
  • Epic & feature definition: Turn business needs into clear user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria that everyone understands and rallies around.
  • Team collaboration: Work closely with development and design teams to ensure clarity, remove blockers, and support smooth delivery.
  • Agile rituals: Lead or actively participate in agile ceremonies—refinements, plannings, dailies, retros, demos—you name it.
  • Cross-team communication: Be the glue between internal stakeholders and tech. Align visions, manage expectations, and tell the product story.
  • Impact & metrics: Help define what success looks like for each initiative and track how we’re doing over time.


Who we’re looking for

  • 2 to 4 years of experience as a Product Owner (or similar) in agile teams.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Ability to craft detailed, value-driven user stories.
  • Someone who’s comfortable moving between the technical, the functional, and the human.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced English level.
  • Experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.
  • Strong execution and problem-solving skills — you’re not afraid to tackle challenges head-on.
  • Takes accountability and consistently owns the outcome throughout the process.
  • Embraces feedback as an opportunity for growth.
  • Naturally proactive, always looking for ways to move projects forward.
  • Comfortable speaking up and proposing bold, creative ideas that add value.

While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:

  • Come from a technical background or have experience working closely with dev teams.
  • Know about UX or have worked alongside product designers.
  • Have experience in startups or fast-changing environments.
