What you'll do

At Frekuent, we’re not just building payment solutions — we’re creating seamless experiences that move businesses and customers forward. As our Mid-Level UX/UI Designer, you’ll play a key role in shaping intuitive and visually consistent digital experiences across our products. This role is all about turning complex user and business needs into clear, actionable design solutions. You’ll take ownership of interface design, contribute to the evolution of our Design System in Figma, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align design with product goals. With a strong eye for detail and a solid understanding of user flows, you’ll help bring ideas to life in fast-paced, agile environments, making a real impact on how users interact with our tools every day.

What you'll be doing:

  • Design usable, accessible, and consistent interfaces for our digital products (app, dashboard, POS…), translating business and user needs into flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs that are clear and actionable.
  • Build and scale our Design Systems in Figma, ensuring visual and functional consistency across all product touchpoints.
  • Apply best practices in visual design, hierarchy, color, typography, and accessibility, adapting the visual language to each platform while maintaining brand coherence.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of user journeys and flows in digital applications and tools.
  • Bring ideas to life and translate them into concrete solutions, even in fast-paced, agile, and ever-changing environments.
  • Participate in ideation and definition sessions, working closely with development, product, and marketing teams to align design, experience, and business goals.

Who we’re looking for

  • 2 to 4 years of experience as a UX/UI Designer, with real projects in digital products, tools, and native apps (iOS & Android).
  • Proven experience creating and maintaining Design Systems.
  • Strong visual judgment and the ability to make design decisions independently and clearly.
  • Knowledge of technical capabilities, limitations, and trends in digital design (including other creative sectors).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to present and defend your design decisions clearly and concisely to multidisciplinary teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and tools like Miro, Jira, Adobe, etc.
  • Responsible, proactive, and adaptable to change and new challenges.

While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:

  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS (not for coding, but to better communicate with developers).
  • Experience with product analytics or metrics tools.
  • Familiarity with concepts like Agile, Scrum, etc.
