What you'll do

At Frekuent, we’re not just building payment solutions — we’re creating seamless experiences that move businesses and customers forward. As our People Intern, you’ll be part of the People & Culture team, helping us build a strong, inclusive, and thriving workplace. This role is all about learning, growing, and contributing to our organization.




What you'll be doing:

  • Support and collaborate in recruitment processes, from sourcing to interviews
  • Follow up on administrative tasks such as employee onboarding, documentation, and contract management
  • Assist in the onboarding experience for new hires, making sure they feel welcome and informed
  • Help monitor and improve employee benefits programs
  • Support the implementation and tracking of workplace safety and risk prevention plans
  • Contribute to process documentation to ensure clarity and consistency across HR operations




Who we’re looking for

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Passion for people, culture, and creating meaningful employee experiences
  • Familiarity with digital tools such as Google Workspace, Excel, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong execution and problem-solving skills — you’re not afraid to tackle challenges head-on.
  • Takes accountability and consistently owns the outcome throughout the process.
  • Embraces feedback as an opportunity for growth.
  • Naturally proactive, always looking for ways to move projects forward.
  • Comfortable speaking up and proposing bold, creative ideas that add value.

While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:

  • Have previous internship or volunteer experience in HR or recruitment
  • Are familiar with HRIS or ATS platforms
