What you'll do

At Frekuent, we’re not just building payment solutions — we’re creating seamless experiences that move businesses and customers forward. We are looking for a Hardware Development Project Manager to lead key projects related to our new POS terminals. This role is pivotal for advancing strategic products we are developing with international suppliers.

The focus is on bridging technical development with real-world operations: project follow-up, requirements validation, supplier management, and close client interaction. It’s a cross-functional, challenging role with significant impact.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage hardware development projects from start to finish: from technical requirements to final delivery.
  • Coordinate with international suppliers, ensuring technical compliance, timelines, and quality.
  • Validate technical specifications and ensure implementation with internal teams.
  • Interact with clients, understand their needs, follow up on requirements, and ensure deliverables.
  • Plan and manage schedules, milestones, risks, and technical dependencies.
  • Participate in technical and commercial negotiations with suppliers.
  • Collaborate with product, QA, firmware, and support teams for seamless hardware–software integration.

Who we’re looking for

  • Technical degree in Electronic, Industrial, or Computer Engineering, or similar.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in hardware project management.
  • Technical knowledge to read, analyze, and discuss electronic specifications.
  • Experience coordinating developments with suppliers.
  • Ability to engage with clients, technical teams, and suppliers simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Notion, Gantt, etc.).
  • Advanced English (spoken and written).
  • Strong execution and problem-solving skills — you’re not afraid to tackle challenges head-on.
  • Takes accountability and consistently owns the outcome throughout the process.
  • Embraces feedback as an opportunity for growth.
  • Naturally proactive, always looking for ways to move projects forward.
  • Comfortable speaking up and proposing bold, creative ideas that add value.

While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:

  • Knowledge of POS devices, IoT, or other embedded products.
  • Experience in hardware certification processes or technical validation testing.
