About the role

We’re looking for a Sales Team Lead for our SMB segment, responsible for driving revenue growth across both new business and existing accounts.

You’ll lead a team of Sales Executives and Account Managers, ensuring we consistently hit acquisition, retention and expansion targets. This role combines leadership, strategy and hands-on sales execution, you won’t just manage the team, you’ll elevate it.

Your mission is to build a high-performing SMB sales engine: hiring, coaching and guiding the team while staying close to the deals, the market and our customers.


What you’ll do

Team leadership & development

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Sales Executives and Account Managers

  • Drive performance through clear targets, structured 1:1s and ongoing feedback

  • Support the team in complex deals, negotiations and key opportunities

  • Foster a strong sales culture focused on ownership, accountability and results

Hiring & team growth

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to hire top sales talent

  • Own onboarding and ramp-up of new team members

  • Continuously raise the bar on team quality and performance

Revenue ownership & forecasting

  • Own SMB revenue targets across acquisition, upsell and retention

  • Build and manage accurate sales forecasts and pipeline visibility

  • Identify risks and opportunities early, taking action to ensure targets are met

Sales execution & strategy

  • Help the team identify, progress and close high-value opportunities

  • Drive upsell and cross-sell strategies within the existing customer base

  • Improve sales processes, playbooks and methodologies

Cross-functional collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, Ops and Tech to align on growth initiatives

  • Provide market feedback and customer insights to shape product and strategy


What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years experience in B2B SaaS or fintech sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

  • Proven track record managing both new business and account management teams

  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to drive revenue and close deals yourself when needed

  • Experience in SMB sales environments with high volume and fast cycles

  • Solid understanding of pipeline management, forecasting and sales metrics

  • Hands-on leader: comfortable going deep into deals, calls and execution

  • Excellent communication, coaching and leadership skills

  • Languages: Spanish and English (mandatory); additional languages are a plus


Nice to have

  • Experience in payments, fintech or unattended retail

  • Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce or similar)

  • Background in fast-growing or scale-up environments
